The province of Lecco is a province of Lombardy with 339,090 inhabitants, whose capital is the city of Lecco. With an area of 814.58 km², it is the sixth smallest province in Italy and eleventh in terms of population density.

The Provincial Administration of Lecco has launched a tender to define a real partner that would help it implement the new system of water withdrawal detection and to apply it to the concessionaires under its competence.

In this work, CPL CONCORDIA, with the full support of the Province of Lecco, has been responsible for:

• Provide the Concessionaires of the Province with the equipment for the collection of flow data and the transmission of measurements to the control center
• Setting up the data collection centre and publication of the collected data on WEB pages

The Province of Lecco will be able to connect to the CPL CONCORDIA portal and view the consumption data of its dealers, exporting data, displaying graphs, alarms, etc.

The Province of Lecco, the first in Italy, has decided to experiment with this technological and innovative method that involves the detection of the sampling parameters by means of electronic equipment at the dealers, the storage of the data at a control center and the publication on a WEB portal of the results of the surveys.
CPL CONCORDIA has combined the experience gained in recent years in the creation and management of systems for data collection (from cathodic protection systems to methane gas sampling and remote controls) with the creation and management of software for web publication of data from plants.
