The business of managing public lighting is entrusted by government to companies qualified to do so.
With the Public Lighting contract, CPL CONCORDIA establishes, in agreement with the public administration, the type of investment to be undertaken. Starting from this and the regulatory requirements begins the intervention, which is developed on the two key elements of the facility: aesthetic impact and energy impact.
The Public Lighting service involves long-term contractual relationships (normally 9 to 15 years). The Principal entrusts conduction, operation and maintenance of its lighting facilities to CPL CONCORDIA. CPL assumes all duties arising from the operation and maintenance of the facilities, including energy bills. Collateral activities are also generally included in the contract: maintenance of traffic light systems, Christmas lights management, and more.
CPL CONCORDIA identifies all upgrading interventions that can generate energy savings: replacement of lamps with latest technology LED lighting fixtures, installation of power modulators, remote control systems, etc.
Light fixture revamping work on street furniture lamps, for example, is also possible.
CPL is equipped to offer artistic lighting interventions for buildings, squares or monuments with RGB LED technology.
CPL also deals with the management of incentives related to upgrading such as white certificates and the resulting relationships with the GSE; it is the energy savings obtained that will serve, partially or in full, as financing for the upgrading of facilities.
