The European University Institute (EUI) in Fiesole is the leading institute in Europe dedicated to social sciences and humanities funded by the Member States of the European Union. Founded in 1972, EUI has earned a reputation as an international centre of research and higher education, thanks to its outstanding doctoral, postdoctoral, master’s and executive programmes, with over 1,000 students from more than 85 countries.
