BEE Sustainable

The health of ecosystems is primarily owed to these small insects that need to be, therefore, protected more and more, day by day. So it is that, always attentive to the welfare and development of its territory, from every point of view, economic, social and environmental, CPL CONCORDIA stands up for these insects as small as they are essential to our life on Earth.

The cooperative has adopted 500,000 bees while supporting their restocking and increasing the environmental awareness of all its Members and Stakeholders.

The project stems from a collaboration with a local farm, a small area business that has been involved in beekeeping for 20 years. Further evidence of CPL’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. The beehives that the company helped make and populate will then be embellished and enriched by the drawings and colorful representations of CPL’s children, who will take center stage within a truly remarkable project.

In addition, the “Bee Sustainable” Project also includes educational-informative visits on beekeeping at the farm for Members, Employees and family members, as well as for all school students in the area. In 2022, thanks to the gradual resumption of in-person meetings, a visit to the company was held at the Ordinary General Meeting of CPL CONCORDIA Members, involving family members of the Members: a moment of meeting, learning and exchange aimed at spreading the culture of environmental sustainability and respect for nature.
