The New Report “Climate Change 2022: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability” 1 of the Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change – IPCC2
confirms, again for this year, that extreme weather events, caused mainly by human activity, have resulted in irreversible impacts on nature and people, and
emphasizes the need to limit global warming to below 1.5°C in order to be able to achieve a just, equitable and sustainable world. The report also highlights the importance of increasing ambition in both adaptation and mitigation and placing these issues at the center of policy agendas and public attention.
