LANDINI S.p.A. produces building materials, offering a range of products developed over the years with a constantly evolving offer. With three production plants, state-of-the-art plants and machinery, an area of 220,000 sq m, of which 80,000 are covered, and a workforce of about 300 units, it is able to meet the most diverse needs of a wide range of Italian and international customers.

An initial energy check-up of the facility highlighted:

• Consistent power consumption, with stable daily and annual load profile
• Consistent heat consumption in winter, with a constant heat withdrawal profile throughout the typical day
• Consistent cooling consumption throughout the year

The annual energy requirements of the LANDINI plant are equal to 20,272 MWh of electricity and 5,954 MWh of thermal energy in the form of steam, hot water and cooling energy produced by the absorption group.

The trigeneration plant built at the plant Landini in Castelnovo Sotto (RE) is characterized by an electrical power of 1.0 MWe, a thermal power of 1.216 MWt and a cooling capacity of 0.884 MWf.
