CPL CONCORDIA: the relaunch from the earthquake and the corporate crisis

During the visit of the Hon. Paola De Micheli, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Emilia-Romagna Regional Councillor for Productive Activities and Post-Earthquake Reconstruction Palma Costi, recognition of the work of the cooperative chaired by Dr. Mauro Gori.

Concordia sulla Secchia (MO), 19 May 2017 – A company that has been able to recover from the wounds inflicted by the earthquake and the recent reputational crisis: in this logic today the Honorable Paola De Micheli, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry Minister of Economy and Finance, and the Assessor of the Emilia-Romagna Region Productive Activities and Post-Earthquake Reconstruction Palma Costi visited the CPL CONCORDIA cooperative.

At the company's headquarters in Concordia, the members of the Board of Directors presented the main factors for the recovery of production activities. The President of CPL Mauro Gori wanted to thank the Hon. De Micheli and the Councillor Costi for the "closeness and attention with which they have followed our cooperative, especially during the difficult moments experienced in recent years. In those situations, CPL's partners and employees unleashed unexpected energies and initiated the necessary changes to build a possible future. There is still much to be done", continued President Gori, "but the first fruits of this great work are beginning to be seen. The most tangible sign is the resumption of staff hiring."

Hon. De Micheli and Councillor Costi talked about the way in which cooperation , also through the experience of worker buyouts, contributes significantly to the economy and underlined that not only investments but also the ideas and values of which cooperation is the bearer are the drivers of entrepreneurial development.

Together with the mayors Prandini, Accorsi and Silvestri and Senator Vaccari, Hon. De Micheli and Councillor Costi met with a representative of the cooperative's employees who wanted to testify their gratitude to those who have worked hard for the continuity of employment in a territory eager to return to being technological excellence in Emilia.
