Concordia sulla Secchia (MO), 7 September 2017 - The Board of Directors of CPL CONCORDIA met in recent days to analyse the performance of the cooperative as at 30 June 2017.
The profit marks a positive figure of about 1 million Euros, net of extraordinary transactions. The half-year report recorded an improvement in operating margins and core operations thanks to the activities to reduce costs and increase productivity.
Compared to the figures at 30 June 2016, the half-year figures, while recording a drop in turnover (107.3 million euro compared to 112.5 million), show an improvement in both EBITDA, which rose to 8.5 million (+11.4 compared to 30 June 2016), and EBIT to 3 million (+122% compared to June 2016).
The numbers are in line with the objectives for the current 2017 financial year indicated in the Business Plan that the company has agreed with the Banking Class, and are even better if projected at the end of the year.
The progress in financial management was significant: the Net Financial Position stood at €134.9 million, an improvement compared to both 30 June 2016 (€146.9 million) and 31 December 2016 (€139.1 million).
