DiNETWORK

The management of the activities of a natural gas distribution company

DiNETWORKis the software developed by CPL CONCORDIA for managing all the characteristic activities of a natural gas distribution company.

Developed on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, Microsoft’s modern and efficient ERP management system, DiNETWORK ensures the management of all major business needs: general accounting, inventory management, asset and liability cycle, management control, etc. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central:

  • is available in Cloud and On-Premise;
  • Is integrated with Microsoft Power BI;
  • Ability to leverage web customers;
  • you can modify Business Central by installing extensions (Apps) that add functionality, change behavior, or provide access to new online services.

DiNETWORK allows effective customization of the product according to the roles of the various operators: through the Role Tailored Client (RTC) system, each user is able to set and customize his or her own work session.

Characteristics of the system

DiNETWORK was developed to manage distribution companies and comply with the dictates of ARERA, including quality of service, document verification, and communication standards.

  • Management of the Integrated Information System (IIS);
  • registry of Redelivery Points (PDRs);
  • registry Distribution Service Users;

  • Meter master data and Electronic Corrector master data;
  • Management of service user requests.

MyGate Portal

The MyGate portalis the web-application linked to the DiNETWORK management system that enables the exchange of information in real time between sales companies and the distributor, guaranteeing rapid communication, correctness and uniformity of data.

The Web portal will complement the distributor’s existing Web site. Sales companies will be provided with the appropriate authentication credentials. This will enable them to web upload requests in XML format, as specifically requested by ARERA, check the status of their PDRs, and retrieve information on the zones managed by the distributor.

Through the portal, once uploaded, sales companies will receive an immediate response regarding the eligibility of requests thanks to the close integration with DiNETWORK software, which performs a real-time congruity check on the data. In addition, it will be possible to have a continuous update regarding the status of submitted requests.

As required by the resolution, the portal must allow sales companies to be able to independently make an appointment, on behalf of the distributor, for the physical execution of the entered request.

The web portal for data exchange, then, Relieves the distribution company of all request import activities received from sales companies, automating the software upgrade process and responding to ARERA’s requests on the subject of an evolved tool for the implementation of the National Communication Standard (NCS).

In the “MyGate” portal, all access is managed with Active Directory rules, so in view of GDPR you are supported by Microsoft.
There is also all implementation with Web Services to and from DiNETWORK, both in terms of connection and control of data communicated or received via the WSs themselves (SGATE; eSAC; WFM ERMES).

Rc-net

It is the Automated Readings Management system, created to manage the reading of gas and water meters with maximum efficiency and quality. RcNet consists of the following elements:

  • RcNet host, developed in Microsoft environment;
  • Mobile RcNet, installed on the PDA, oversees all activities performed by the reader in the territory;
  • handhelds using Microsoft Windows CE or Windows Mobile and standard radio technologies;
  • RcApp is the RcNet Mobile version for mobile devices that support Android.
05.
Booking online

Through this module, the distributor makes available on the web portal a work schedule created ad hoc according to its needs (groups of available resources, municipalities served, time slots, type of activity performed), from which the salesperson can independently book appointments with the end customer. The tool thus enables better communication between distribution and sales, providing the end customer with greater speed and efficiency.
