CPL CONCORDIA in China with the Italgas delegation to export solutions to the gas market

October 21, 2019 - CPL CONCORDIA is interested in foreign development in the energy sector. Selected as one of Italgas' best business partners, the Modena-based multi-service company took part in the fifth China LNG & Gas International Summit and took part in the workshop dedicated to the liquefied natural gas market, in the presence of Chinese energy giants and gas players from Australia, Singapore and Portugal.

The declared intention of the delegation of Italgas and its main suppliers is to export Italian excellence in natural gas distribution through the agreement signed with the State Grid Corporation of China which provides, among other things, for the sharing of knowledge, methods and solutions applied to the energy sector, in particular in the natural gas distribution sector.

"CPL CONCORDIA has enthusiastically accepted the invitation to take part in Italgas' business mission in China," said CPL CONCORDIA Chairman Paolo Barbieri on the sidelines of the meeting. "We presented our experience of more than 60 years as a gas service and plant supplier to an international audience. We have seen growing interest, particularly in the LNG sector, Liquefied Natural Gas."

CPL CONCORDIA, with its consolidated know-how in gas networks and energy infrastructures, boasts the first LNG regasification plant built in Sardinia for a private industry and is carrying out other projects throughout northern Italy, which also include the supply of fuel through its subsidiary Polargas.

"Our presence at the Chinese summit, for which we are grateful to Italgas, is an integral part of the development strategy abroad that CPL wants to undertake to strengthen its growth in the core energy and technology networks business," Barbieri concluded.
