The awards, called "The roots of the future", rewarded deserving students of the Fifth Grade of the Higher Technical Institutes throughout Italy with specialization in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science and mechanics
Despite the complex economic and social situation caused by the current health emergency, CPL CONCORDIA has confirmed for 2020 the allocation of 10 "The Roots of the Future" Scholarships for students in the fifth grade of the Higher Technical Institutes of the territories in which the company operates, from Milan to Bari, from Concordia to Rome. The award ceremony took place in recent days in online mode during the presentation of the Sustainability Report in the presence of CPL workers, winners and teachers of the Institutes involved.
Satisfaction and consensus were expressed by the School Principals for CPL's choice to confirm the donation even in this period of general difficulty. The CPL Academy structure, in collaboration with CPL Vice President Samuele Penzo and CSR Manager Gianni Levratti, had proposed the presentation of the company and the launch of the CPL Scholarships in some webinars held at the end of May in the presence of over 250 students and teachers.
"With the confirmation of the Scholarships also in this particular year, our cooperative reiterates the importance of training in the path of people and workers and wishes to contribute to an increasingly close and synergistic relationship between educational institutions and business", said the President of CPL CONCORDIA Paolo Barbieri. "With these initiatives, CPL CONCORDIA also confirms the centrality of the relationship with the territories in which it operates, thanks to which it has been possible to create employment and lasting value over time".
