In May 2004, Francesco Manicardi (CPL CONCORDIA Press Office Manager) interviewed Giuseppe Tanferri, president of the Cooperative between 1958 and 1976 and a partisan. The video collects in a little over half an hour a generous testimony of nearly six hours, in which emerged the account of a man who never wanted to forget the terrible moments of torture (the so-called “merry-go-round”) and who, once the war and occupation ended, devoted himself to reconstruction through work.
Memory, identity and dignity of the person are the soul, the hallmarks of a man “like so many” of his time, capable of reminding us that, even amidst a thousand difficulties and even under extreme conditions, man can and must be Man.
