Since April 2012, CPL CONCORDIA has been carrying out the management service of public lighting and traffic light systems in the municipal area of San Benedetto del Tronto (Ascoli Piceno), a town of 50 thousand inhabitants located in the southern part of the Adriatic coast of the Marche region, a location of great national and international tourist appeal. The project for the upgrading of the facilities consists of interventions aimed at restoring the necessary conditions of safety of operation, to ensure greater energy efficiency in compliance with the relevant directives (installation of high-efficiency lamps with LED technology, use of centralized and punctual flow reduction systems) to ensure a suitable management service (it is planned to implement a remote control system of all facilities), to enhance the aesthetic and environmental impact of the public lighting system in those particular contexts – peculiar to each tourist resort – such as the waterfront (frequented by many tourists in the summer months) and the city center, which hosts several pedestrian islands theater of events throughout the year.
