The Conference “Work 4.0: the evolution of the economic context in the energy sector”<\/strong> organized by CPL CONCORDIA<\/strong> to celebrate its 120th anniversary has just ended.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The event was the first<\/strong> of many initiatives<\/strong> that CPL CONCORDIA will bring to the attention of stakeholders<\/strong> in this celebratory year, to enhance<\/strong> the history<\/strong> and achievements<\/strong> of the company, the work<\/strong> of<\/strong> people<\/strong> and territories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

CPL CONCORDIA,<\/strong> born in 1899<\/strong> by a group of unemployed fathers, today it operates throughout the Italy<\/strong> and Abroad<\/strong>: Provides Energy<\/strong> Services<\/strong> at important realities of the country<\/strong>, both (<\/strong>Auditorium<\/strong> of Rome<\/strong>, ATER,<\/strong> Trenitalia<\/strong>, etc.) who private<\/strong> (Ducati<\/strong>, Lamborghini<\/strong>, Aruba<\/strong>, Aquarium of Genoa<\/strong>), with over 1500 employees<\/strong> and a turnover<\/strong> of 286 million Euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In particular, today’s event was an opportunity to discuss<\/strong> together with representatives<\/strong> of the institutions<\/strong> and the industrial<\/strong> world the changes<\/strong> that are affecting the world of work<\/strong> in the energy<\/strong> sector<\/strong> in the light of the digital revolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Here is a summary of the speeches of the speakers, moderated by the journalist of the La7 news Andrea Molino.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Hon. Claudio Cominardi<\/strong>, Undersecretary<\/strong> at the<\/strong> Ministry of Labour and Social Policies<\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Despite the fact that we have moved from the era of industrial<\/strong> society to the era of digital<\/strong> society<\/strong>, in Italy<\/strong> we have an impressive digital<\/strong> illiteracy<\/strong>.<\/strong> We need to take the technology train<\/strong> so as not to fall behind<\/strong> international<\/strong> competitors<\/strong>. To do this, it is necessary to focus on training<\/strong> and make<\/strong> technical<\/strong> institutes<\/strong> more attractive<\/strong>. I would like to mention the fund<\/strong> of one billion euros<\/strong> allocated to invest in training and support<\/strong> companies<\/strong> to overcome the digital divide<\/strong> and invest<\/strong> in innovation<\/strong>.<\/strong> To give them the opportunity to evolve, we have thought of the digital transition manager<\/strong> who is able to accompany them in this process. Job centres<\/strong> will play a very important role. I want to emphasize the importance of Blockchains<\/strong> , which represent a great opportunity, and not only in the financial field.<\/p>\n\n

The revolution<\/strong> taking place in the energy sector<\/strong>, like all revolutions, brings with it risks<\/strong> and opportunities<\/strong>. I believe that the risks are well known to all, I am focusing on the opportunities<\/strong>, which are linked to the fact that new supply chains will arise<\/strong>, especially related to the service<\/strong> department<\/strong>, deriving from the new technological solutions<\/strong> offered by storage<\/strong>, aggregators<\/strong>, Demand Response<\/strong>, Energy Communities<\/strong> and, in general, self-consumption<\/strong> and efficiency<\/strong>. It is therefore likely that the transformation process<\/strong> of the sector’s utilities<\/strong>, which have already begun to offer a whole series of services to users, both industrial and civil, will continue.<\/strong> Since we are talking about electricity-related<\/strong> services, it is implicit that the role of ICT<\/strong> will be central, and therefore the definition of “Work 4.0”<\/strong> is well suited to this specific sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Paolo Barbieri, President of CPL CONCORDIA:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At the milestone<\/strong> of 120 years<\/strong> of our cooperative enterprise, we want to accompany<\/strong> the digital revolution<\/strong> taking place in the world of energy<\/strong> with the support<\/strong> of big data<\/strong> and blockchain<\/strong>. We are able to develop the green economy<\/strong> through energy<\/strong> efficiency<\/strong>, technological networks<\/strong>, and the development of biogas<\/strong> and cogeneration<\/strong>. We also focus decisively on corporate training policies<\/strong> for our 1600 members<\/strong> and employees<\/strong> and on investments in welfare<\/strong> and environmental sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Paolo Bacchetta, CEO of Italgas Reti:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Italgas has long been committed to the promote<\/strong> and anticipate<\/strong> the evolution of Industry 4.0<\/strong> by operating on five main guidelines<\/strong>: digitalisation of processes<\/strong> and physical assets<\/strong>, through the adoption<\/strong> of new<\/strong> software<\/strong>, hardware<\/strong> and Methods<\/strong> of work<\/strong>, the insertion of Professionals<\/strong> with native<\/strong> digital<\/strong> skills<\/strong> and the evolution of operational figures<\/strong>, supplier involvement<\/strong> and growth<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong> The driving force<\/strong> behind this digital transformation is the Digital<\/strong> Factory<\/strong>, inaugurated in 2018 with the aim of developing<\/strong> new<\/strong> systems<\/strong> and applications<\/strong> at home that optimize<\/strong> and make the company’s operations<\/strong> more efficient<\/strong>. At the same time, the search for IT professionals<\/strong> able to <\/strong> support<\/strong> and speed up these processes<\/strong> has also evolved<\/strong>, with a significant training<\/strong> commitment<\/strong> also in the re-skilling<\/strong> of company personnel<\/strong>. As far as suppliers are concerned, the activities underway are inevitably also having an effect<\/strong> on the supply chain<\/strong> , promoting their growth<\/strong> and development<\/strong> to keep up with the new needs.<\/p>\n\n

The epochal<\/strong> changes<\/strong> underway certainly have their origin<\/strong> in the technological<\/strong> revolution<\/strong> and repercussions<\/strong> on the markets<\/strong>, but they have direct<\/strong> consequences<\/strong> first and foremost on work<\/strong>, and therefore on people<\/strong> and communities<\/strong>. For this reason, organized<\/strong> cooperation<\/strong>, which was created precisely to ensure<\/strong> work and citizenship<\/strong> for people, is directly engaged in the challenge<\/strong> of promoting<\/strong> good<\/strong> work<\/strong> and social security<\/strong>.<\/strong> Of course, today, this task involves on the one hand supporting<\/strong> the acquisition<\/strong> of technological knowledge<\/strong> and skills<\/strong>, and on the other hand monitoring<\/strong> the legality<\/strong> and dignity<\/strong> of work<\/strong>.<\/strong> For this reason, Legacoop has set up a continuous training strategy<\/strong> at all levels<\/strong>, aimed at members<\/strong>, workers<\/strong> and administrators<\/strong>, to support the technological transition<\/strong> towards cooperative 4.0.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
