The Val di Chiana Farm operates a biogas plant, built by CPL CONCORDIA, which covers an area of about 7800 square meters. Agricultural products grown directly on land managed by the farm itself (straw, hay, sorghum, alfalfa) are fed into the plant. Thirty to 50 tons of raw material are brought in every day. The plant has an estimated annual production of 8,100,000 kWh.
