The methane gas decompression and metering cabin at Bellolampo (PA), was built to support the existing cabin in order to cope with the increased flow rate obtained with the completion of the distribution networks. The Palermo cabin was designed and built by CPL CONCORDIA as were all equipment monitoring and supervision systems . Inside the cabin, the gas is filtered (i.e., cleaned) by a double-line filter unit of nominal diameter DN 300 and measured through traditional G4000 turbine meters that verify the amount of gas input (about 81,000 Stm3/h).
