The natural gas pressure reducing and metering station of Bellolampo, Palermo, was built to support the existing station, to handle the increase in flow achieved with the completion of the distribution grids. The Palermo station was designed and built by CPL CONCORDIA, together with all the monitoring and supervision systems. Inside the station, the gas is filtered (i.e. cleaned) by a dual-line filtering unit with a nominal diameter of DN 300, and metered with traditional G4000 turbine meters that check the quantity of incoming gas (about 81,000 Sm3/h).
