Web Offering Management

With the introduction of the new Code of Business Conduct (Del 426/2020), the calculation of the Estimated Annual Expenditure assumes a relevant role in the information that the seller must provide to the End Customer in both the pre-contractual and supply phases.

The Estimated Annual Expenditure must be included in the Summary Sheet and the Comparability Sheet to be delivered to the Customer at the time of signing the contract and, thereafter, whenever a change in economic conditions occurs during the course of the supply, this calculation must be updated and communicated to the Customer.

WOM (Web Offering Management) is the portal implemented by CPL CONCORDIA that allows the Sales Departments of sales companies to manage their Offers and calculate the Estimated Annual Expenditure in real time.

In addition to the Annual Expenditure Estimate, WOM allows to calculate the Price Indicators required by the regulations (Del. 426/2020) and the Unit Cost of Transportation, Meter Management and General System Charges determined on the type profile.

Methods of Access and Roles

The portal provides access with User and Password. Each enabled user is assigned a specific role with certain permissions/limitations.

Roles can be:

• ADMINISTRATOR: can assign roles to users and manage bids, including uploading tracks related to Regulated Rates
• COMMERCIAL: can manage bids, specifically can create, edit or delete a bid, as well as calculate its Estimated Annual Expenditure.
• AGENT: can view bids, without editing or deleting them, and can calculate the Estimated Annual Expenditure.

Offer Management

Through a simple graphical interface, operators will be able to enter the Commercial Offers they intend to propose to their End Customers and calculate for each of them the Estimated Annual Expenditure, as required by current regulations.

The Web portal is divided by type of service–gas and energy-and, for each, there is an Offer Management page that lists the Offers active at the time of consultation.

With appropriate filters or a simple search, previous offers can also be viewed.

Rates related to “pass-through costs” (transportation and meter management and system charges) are charged through appropriate tracks and updated quarterly.

Through the command ADD OFFER it is possible create a new offer first choosing the name and offer code to identify it, and then indicating the period of validity, the type of Customer to which it refers (domestic or other uses, and for gas, also condominium) and the type of price charged (fixed or variable).

In the second part of the form, the prices defined in the bid itself can be entered.

Once you save the data, you are redirected directly to the Annual Expenditure Estimate calculation page.

There are a number of buttons in the Offerings list that allow you to manage the offerings you already have:

• DUPLICATE: allows you to duplicate an offer that already exists; it is useful in case you need to create a new offer similar to one that already exists: the parameters of the selected offer are shown, and the operator can intervene only on the values to be updated. When the operation is completed, a new offer is created.
• EDIT: allows you to edit an existing offer, to correct any errors. No new supply is generated.
• DELETE: allows you to delete an offer. This will no longer be visible anywhere on the portal.

Estimated Annual Expenditure

The Estimated Annual Expenditure is calculated considering the rates in effect at the time of processing and is immediately visible on the display of the device used (PC, tablet or smartphone). The Estimate can, in addition, be calculated at any time by accessing the appropriate section and selecting the desired bid.

In addition to the calculation of the Estimated Annual Expenditure, one can proceed with thecalculation of the Synthetic Price Indicators, as required by the regulations, as well as the unit cost of the components of Transportation and Meter Management and General System Charges, calculated for the type profile.

It is possible to download the results in Excel format, so they can be easily transferred to the appropriate sections of the Summary Sheet and Comparability Sheet.
