The Regulatory Compliance service, aims to be a guide to companies subject to regulation by various agencies (ARERA, CSEA, Customs, Integrated Information System, SGAte, GSE, etc.) in both sales and distribution.

The service is based on pivotal principles such as continuous study and updating of the regulation of the sectors, clarity with which to render information, support and training to always be at the side of companies by supporting them to be compliant with the regulation.

The team’s activities are divided into three macro areas: Regulatory Affairs for the mere study and interpretation part of the regulations; Reporting Analysis to provide support and know-how in the multitude of reports that sector companies must fulfill to the various agencies (ARERA, Customs Agency, CSEA, […]); IIS Development dedicated to the world of Integrated Information System (IIS) and continuous software development to be compliant with various industry specifications.

Regulatory Affairs

The “Regulatory Affairs” team is mainly concerned with the study and interpretation of the regulations of the energy sectors, both in sales and distribution.
The goal is to be a reference point by providing direct and clear support in an ever-changing context by analyzing resolutions, determinations, circulars, first-level laws, technical specifications and guidelines of the various institutions, while also noting the operational repercussions that the regulations have on the daily activities of market operators.
The team sends out periodic briefings in a simple and clear manner explaining the main news affecting the regulated sectors.
Discussion tables can also be set up to analyze individual and particular cases that may arise in the world of Utilties.
Team members, if ad hoc insights are needed, interface directly with various officials so that they have quick and direct feedback for interpretation of regulations.

Reporting Analysis

The “Reporting Analysis” team is in charge of managing the various obligations to which sales and distribution operators are required to comply with the various entities (ARERA, CSEA, Customs Agency, Revenue Agency, GSE,..).
In detail, the group is in charge of analyzing the main requirements and collecting data in order to be able to meet the information obligations.
In addition, the team advises on the data that are requested from time to time so that they are handled properly of operators.
A compliance calendar is prepared and updated, highlighting the deadlines to which operators are subject and periodic update notices.
For companies using CPL’s software solutions for Billing and Distribution, our team can handle the entire chain of such fulfillment-from extracting and verifying data directly on the client’s systems to supporting the uploading of data to the various portals.
Advice is also provided on tariff matters with the preparation and updating of sales tariffs and support in fulfillments related to the determination of distribution tariffs and RAB.
The group also provides support in the activities of the “high chain” of sales and trading companies in the electricity and gas markets in Italy and Europe, with tools to carry out activities such as consumption forecasting, wallet management, pricing, and REMIT obligations.

IIS Development

The “IIS Development” team is mainly in charge of analyzing the technical specifications issued by the Integrated Information System to all industry players.
The consultants in this team communicate to Clients any updates regarding the IIS’s publication of new technical specifications or significant changes in process management, offering the necessary support for their interpretation and necessary clarifications.
In addition to this, consultants interface periodically with IIS contact persons to discuss any critical issues on activities managed in Portal.
CPL can also provide the outsourcing service of one or more IIS processes based on the specific requests or needs of the Client.

Training

CPL CONCORDIA provides its Know-how and professionals by accompanying clients in the management of their business in the gas, water and energy sectors through training courses, offering the possibility of constant updating on the hottest topics of the sector agendas.
