Services for the remote monitoring of reduction units

CPL CONCORDIA’s services for users interested in remote monitoring reducing units are based on software products installed at CPL’s data centre and are available round-the-clock via the Web interface. Customers do not need to install any dedicated software products, or carry out maintenance or update the necessary servers and database continuously.

CPL guarantees the availability and operation of the Web platform, so it can monitor and manage the operating state of its plants completely independently. The Web platform can handle different types of peripheral devices: always connected, i.e. with real-time data updates, or with periodic data transmission (as is the case with battery-powered devices), and different communication channels, such as GPRS, UMTS, LTE, ADSL, LAN, and more.
The platform supports management of different types of systems, such as odourant rate monitoring systems, unit pressure, grid terminals, and cathodic protection systems. As a result, data detected by different systems can be compared to identify any potential malfunctions or abnormal consumption.
Thanks to the ability to handle different communication protocols, regardless of whether standard or proprietary, a single Web platform can manage several peripheral devices, also of different brands, which would otherwise need as many dedicated software products.

CPL CONCORDIA supports the users interested in remote monitoring reduction units with the following services:

  • Odourant rate monitoring: this service monitors the odourant rate in the gas grid to enable an in-depth analysis of odourant distribution and of the rate present at each monitoring point, ensuring compliance with regulations. Customer can perform the following operations: overview and detailed view of each individual unit, view of data relevant to measured odourant rate, temperature, high or low measurement alarms, data export to chart or table.
  • Unit oversight and remote monitoring: this service lets the user monitor and manage the operating state of its units and grid terminals. Customer can perform the following operations: overview and detailed view of each individual unit, view of the state of odourant rate pressures, of anti-intrusion sensors (if any), reduction block, filter clogging, relating alarms, and data export to chart or table.
  • Grid pressure monitoring as per UNI/TR 11631: this service allows grid pressure to be monitored in accordance with standard UNI/TR 11631 to calculate grid efficiency. It shows the operating state of all peripheral units and distribution grids, in addition to historical data received from devices. Data can be exported. It is possible to manage single-pressure (downstream) and dual-pressure (upstream and downstream) devices, and maintenance jobs on devices or grids that invalidate pressure data and therefore affect grid efficiency.
