On 23 April CPL CONCORDIA is 120 years old

 

In 2019 CPL CONCORDIA is 120 years old. We want to announce this achievement by focusing on people and cooperation, but above all on the innate and essential aim of this company to take root, grow, develop and innovate together.

Many initiatives have been organised in this celebratory year CPL CONCORDIA will be bringing them to the attention of its Stakeholders in order to highlight the history and achievements of the company, the work of its people and the local area.

CPL CONCORDIA’s journey began 120 years ago, an arduous, challenging path full of difficult ascents and races against time, but characterised by many successes and comebacks.

CPL CONCORDIA remembers its past, looking to the future by presenting the Energy Environment 4.0 Project: CPL CONCORDIA’s businesses are working together for a revolution in the energy and environment sector throughout its 2019 celebration year.

WORK and TOGETHER: two milestones that have been distinguishing the identity of a Production and Work Cooperative like CPL CONCORDIA for 120 years.

  • 2 April 2019 – Institutional Event “Work 4.0: The evolution of the economic context in the energy sector”, Rome.

  • 5 May 2019 – CPL CONCORDIA open Day to the general public:

For the first time in 120 years, CPL CONCORDIA opens its doors to the public and the local area to help them become familiar with something that is usually quite distant. A unique opportunity to go on an innovative journey with a guided tour inside the cooperative.

 

  • 9 May 2019 – “L’uomo con la lanterna” (The man with the lantern) book presentation.

A book dedicated to the life of Giuseppe Tanferri, president of CPL CONCORDIA from 1958 to 1976. A journey through the life of a man who symbolised his land, a people and a generation of exceptional people.

  • 31 May – 1/2 June 2019 – Pro Memoria Festival Mirandola (Modena, Italy):

Exhibitions and installations to give an overview of the memory and future of CPL CONCORDIA. More details will be available shortly.

 

  • 22 June 2019 – Financial Statements Members’ Meeting:

Ordinary Members’ Meeting – Approval of 2018 Financial Statements.

  • September 2019 – CPL and Schools: Educational and Pedagogical Tour in areas where CPL operates

  • November/December 2019 – Sustainability Report presentation at CPL’s main Italian offices:
