RcNet
This is the Automated Readings Management system that was developed to manage, with the highest level of efficiency and quality, readings taken from the water and gas meters
Rc-Net integrates the acquisition of data, its validation, and the management of the employees in the field.
RcNet consists of three elements:
- RcNet Host was developed in the Microsoft .Net environment and can be linked to the Microsoft SQL Server database or, more simply, to Microsoft Access
- RcNet Mobile, installed on a Handheld Device, supervises all the activities performed by the meter reader in his territory of competence.
- Psion Workabout Pro Handheld Devices, which use Microsoft Windows CE and standard radio technologies (GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, and 802.11b).
