Volume converter developed by CPL CONCORDIA
ECOR3 is the new MID approved CPL CONCORDIA volumes converter, in accordance with the requirements of UNI TS 11291 standard and EN 12405- 01.
Application
Ecor3 performs the conversion of natural gas volume from operating conditions to reference conditions, acquiring pulsos from the volumetric meter and measuring the gas temperature and pressure (such as PTZ, PT, TZ or T) via special sensors.
As standard equipment the device has digital outputs to repeat the primary volumes, correct volumes and alarms. The data protection and inviolability of the programming parameters is ensured both by a sealed switch and a programmable password.
ECOR3 supports up to two pulse count channels and an additional temperature and/or pressure sensor. ECOR3 is battery powered; an external power supply is available optionally.
The connection with data acquisition systems or process control systems can be realised via an RS232 or RS485 serial port and an infrared optical port.
The optional battery powered com-munications module, ETALK, allows GSM/GPRS communication supporting various protocols: TCP/IP, Elgas-ver2 (proprietary), Modbus and the new protocols required by the UNI CIG 11291 standard: CTR and DLMS. Communications modules with alternative modems (radio or PSTN) are also available as well as grid or photovoltaic powered modules. The device performs advanced telemetry and tele-alarm functions (excess of defined thresholds can be monitored and alarms sent to the control centre).
