CPL has realized the greater public photovoltaic plant in Italy
Photovoltaic solar panels in Carano
In Carano (in the north of Italy), on an area of around 15000 mq CPL Concordia has realized a photovoltaic plant constituted from 2.946 photovoltaic panels, of which 2.856 fixed and 90 which follow the movement of the sun rotating on a vertical axle.
For the realization of the photovoltaic plant has been used:
- 480 micropoles of 2,50 m of middle depth
- 160 tons of galvanized steel
- 21,1 km of cables voters
- 79.400 among dice, washers and bolts in steel Inox Aisi 304
The photovoltaic panels, each of them of 170 kWp, produce a year around 600.000 kWh.
CPL has realized the first alarm installation in Italy applied to photovoltaic systems. If a panel is detached by the structure, a signal comes to supervision system which forwards it to the controlling station.
